Time for tea
We can't think of a better way to spend an afternoon than by sharing a sumptuous selection of sandwiches and sweet and savoury treats with someone special and catching up over the perfect cup of tea. And with plenty of restaurants and terraces to choose from, you can make the most of our Georgian country house on the Durham coast.
Serving times
Afternoon tea is served on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

If anyone within your party has dietary requirements, no matter how small, please do call ahead and give at least 24 hours notice so our team can accommodate. In the event that we do not know ahead of the day, we may not be able to cater for them. We are unable to offer a nut-free afternoon tea.

Booking is essential. Afternoon Tea is pre-paid at the time of booking.
If you have a gift voucher, you can book online or kindly call us at 0191 516 1400 to book, as online reservations are not available for gift voucher holders, alternatively you could email reservations@seaham-hall.com with your contact details and voucher code and the team will be in touch.
Afternoon Tea has a 48hour cancellation policy. There will be full loss of payment if you cancel within 48hours of your booking.
If you are paying with a gift voucher, your voucher will then be redeemed and cannot be used at a later date. All cancellation requests must be sent to hotel@seaham-hall.com, quoting the date of your reservation and your name. Once your request has been received, it will be confirmed by our team via email.

Take your pick from a bitesize selection of our chef's take on the best of British sweet and savoury treats - all accompanied by your choice of loose-leaf tea, artisan coffee, or even a glass of fizz if you fancy.
Please note, we cannot guarantee that our afternoon tea has not come into contact with nuts.
