Booking is essential. A £30 per person deposit is required to secure your table at the time of booking, this can be paid over the phone with a credit or debit card. Unfortunately without a deposit, we are unable to take your reservation. If you make a reservation online, one of our team will be in touch regarding the deposit. Should you have a gift voucher as your payment, we will require the code and this will be used to guarantee your booking.
All evening reservations are subject to a 48-hour cancellation policy. Should you need to amend or cancel your booking 48 hours prior to your reservation, no charges apply and your deposit will be kept as credit for a future booking.
However, should you need to amend or cancel within 48 hours of your arrival, your deposit will be forfeited.
If you are paying with a gift voucher, your voucher will then be redeemed and cannot be used at a later date. All cancellation requests must be sent to hotel@seaham-hall.com, quoting the date of your reservation and your name. Once your request has been received, it will be confirmed by our team via email.
The North-East's finest flavours
Showcasing the very best of Durham's dining scene, our menu is designed with sharing in mind, featuring delicious small and large plates that use only the finest and freshest regional produce. Each ingredient is carefully curated by Executive Chef Damian Broom and ethically sourced from hand-picked suppliers, including nearby honey farms and local fishing boats supplying sustainable seafood.
Old-world elegance, contemporary cuisine
Our timelessly stylish Dining Room is a love letter to our country house's heritage. Its glittering 14-carat gold-plated chandeliers, gorgeous Georgian windows and portrait of former resident, Lord Byron, hint at Seaham Hall's opulent past. But today, we prefer a more relaxed atmosphere to let our dishes shine.
