Dr. James Wokes
Surgeon
Dr James Wokes is an NHS Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic, and Head and Neck Surgeon based in Durham and has worked in the field of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery for over 15 years. Having graduated from medical school with Distinction, he completed a decade of plastic surgery training both nationally and internationally, culminating in the award of the prestigious Ian McGregor Gold Medal for outstanding performance in the FRCS(Plast) consultant examination in 2018. He undertook specialist and highly sought-after fellowships in cancer surgery, reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery, both in the UK and internationally, before returning to the North East as a consultant.
Dr Wokes specialises in aesthetic surgery and non-surgical aesthetic treatments, dedicated to providing exemplary patient care and natural-looking results. LesleyAnne is an experienced Senior Aesthetic Practitioner. She has a Level 6 advanced qualification in aesthetics, skincare and rejuvenation. With 14 years’ experience in the beauty industry, she also holds a Level 3 Beauty Therapy Teaching qualification.
LesleyAnne is passionate about providing exceptional skincare solutions and believes in the power of personalised treatments. While she appreciates the unique benefits of each treatment that Novara offers, SkinPen microneedling holds a special place due to its minimally invasive nature and downtime, it can be used on all skin types promoting collagen production, improving skin tone, acne scars, stretch marks, fine lines and wrinkles, and age spots. Also recognising the unique skincare needs of women during menopause, LesleyAnne is currently undergoing training to become a menopause mentor.
